Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Location: Maasai Mara National Reserve Accommodation: Masai Mara Lodge / Tented Camp
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning. We drive down the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, stopping for panoramic views at the viewpoint. We continue to the Masai Mara, known for its rolling grasslands and dense wildlife population. Upon arrival, we enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge before setting off for an afternoon game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, cheetahs, and the massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. Return to the lodge for dinner and a night surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Full Day in Maasai Mara

Today is dedicated to exploring the vast plains of the Mara. We offer both a morning game drive to catch the predators waking up and an afternoon drive to watch the sunset. You have the option of taking a packed picnic lunch to stay in the bush all day (maximizing your game viewing time) or returning to the lodge for a rest and a swim. The Masai Mara offers unrivaled opportunities to see the Big Five. In the evening, you can visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about their ancient culture and traditions (optional).

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, we enjoy a final morning game drive in the Masai Mara. We then drive north, passing through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is famous for its alkaline lake, which attracts millions of pink flamingos. It is also a sanctuary for both Black and White Rhinos and the endangered Rothschild giraffe. We arrive at our lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive along the lakeshore and the baboon cliff.

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

After an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru and breakfast, we drive to Nairobi for a stop-over lunch. We then continue southeast towards the border with Tanzania to reach Amboseli National Park. The drive offers scenic views of rural Kenya and the semi-arid Kajiado lands. We arrive at our lodge in Amboseli in the late afternoon, just in time for sunset. Enjoy dinner with Mount Kilimanjaro visible in the distance (weather permitting).

Full Day in Amboseli

Wake up to the sight of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, we head out for a full day of game viewing. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants that live in close-knit families. The open plains of Amboseli offer easy viewing of cheetahs, hyenas, and giraffes. We visit the Observation Hill to get a panoramic view of the swampy areas where hippos and buffalo bathe. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park to maximize our time with the wildlife.

Amboseli to Nairobi
Location: Amboseli to Nairobi
After a leisurely breakfast and a final morning game drive to say goodbye to the elephants, we depart Amboseli. We drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight.
