Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve

Location: Nairobi to Masai Mara Accommodation: Mid-Range Tented Camp / Lodge

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport at 7:00 AM. We drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, stopping for breathtaking views along the way. We continue into the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving by late morning. You will check into your permanent tented camp and enjoy a delicious hot lunch.

After settling in, we head out for our first afternoon game drive. The Mara is famous for its vast grasslands and abundant wildlife. We will search for lions, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants. Return to the camp as the sun sets to relax and enjoy dinner by the campfire.

Day 2

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Location: Masai Mara National Reserve Accommodation: Mid-Range Tented Camp / Lodge

We begin the day with an early morning game drive (optional) or a hearty breakfast before heading out for a full day of wildlife viewing.

Option A (Picnic Lunch): Carry a packed lunch and spend the entire day in the park, exploring different sectors like the Mara River to spot hippos and crocodiles. This maximizes your chances of finding the elusive leopards. Option B (Lodge Lunch): Return to the camp for lunch and a swim, then head out again in the afternoon when the predators become active.

Between July and October, you will witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the crocodile-infested river. In the evening, you may opt to visit a Maasai village (extra cost) to learn about their culture.
