Detailed Itinerary
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Location: Nairobi to Amboseli Accommodation: Amboseli Lodge (e.g., Kibo Safari Camp, Amboseli Sopa, or similar)
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport early in the morning. We drive south-east towards the Kenyan border with Tanzania. The drive passes through the beautiful Maasai country and the town of Emali. We arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for lunch at your lodge. After checking in and settling in, we enjoy an afternoon game drive. The landscape is dominated by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting), and you will likely see your first herds of elephants and zebras. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Location: Amboseli Accommodation: Amboseli Lodge
We begin the day with an early morning game drive to catch the sunrise hitting the snowy peaks of Kilimanjaro. This is the best time for photography. After breakfast, we venture out for a full day of exploration.
Morning: We drive to the swamps and springs where hippos wallow and elephants gather to bathe.
Afternoon: We drive to the dry lake beds where cheetahs and gazelles are often spotted.
Cultural Visit: In the afternoon, you may have the option to visit a Maasai village to learn about their nomadic lifestyle and see their traditional jumping dances (optional).

Amboseli to Nairobi
Location: Amboseli to Nairobi
Enjoy a final early morning game drive to catch any last glimpses of the wildlife. After breakfast, we pack up and drive back to Nairobi. We will stop along the way for lunch and to view the Chyulu Hills. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
