5 Days Queen Elizabeth & Bwindi NP

Pick up from your hotel then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with lunch enroute. Upon arrival you will proceed to the park for an evening game drive before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner Accommodation: Tabingi Lodge

Breakfast at your lodge then proceed for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Here you explore a variety of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, Topi, warthogs, Hyenas, lions and several bird species. After the game drive you return to the lodge for lunch and refreshment. In the afternoon, you head for the Kazinga channel boat cruise. This is a great chance of seeing several aquatic species like crocodiles and hippopotami alongside other wildlife and bird species on the river banks. On this day of your trip, you have breakfast then head out to the ishasha sector in the southern part of the park. You spend about 4 hours on the drive, in search for tree climbing lions and any other mammals. After the game drive, you have lunch in the ishasha sector.  After Lunch, you embark on the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arriving in the evening hours, you check in, refresh, have dinner and spend the night at a prior booked accommodation in Bwindi.  Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Accommodation: Ruhija Gorilla Lodge

Early breakfast at your lodge then get ready for the transfer to the park headquarters. You are expected to be at the park headquarters by 8:00 am for briefing on the gorilla trekking from the park rangers. It is at this time when allocation of a gorilla family for each 8 members to trek is allocated. If you have any specific needs or are unable to hike for further distances communicate during briefing such that you are allocated a close family. After briefing, you receive your trekking stick and start the walk to the forest for the experience. Trekking to and from is dependent on where the gorillas spent their previous night, the nearer they are the faster you see them and vice versa. However, when you meet the family, you are allowed to spend maximum 1 hour seeing them go along with their daily lifestyle. Take this time to enjoy the experience and record memories using your non flash photography camera. After the one hour you trek back to the park headquarters where you receive a congratulatory certificate and be driven to your hotel by driver.
