Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Location: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru Accommodation: Mid-Range Tented Camp / Lodge (e.g., Flamingo Hill Tented Camp)
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning. We drive west, descending into the Great Rift Valley, stopping at the viewpoint for panoramic photos. We continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its thousands of pink flamingos that sometimes fringe the lake's edge. The park is also a sanctuary for the endangered Black Rhino and the White Rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch before an afternoon game drive around the lake and the Baboon Cliff. We retire to our lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, we drive south through the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive is scenic, passing through Maasai homesteads and vast plains. We arrive at our lodge in time for a hot lunch. In the afternoon, we head out for our first game drive in the Mara. The Masai Mara is home to the "Big Five" and offers unrivaled game viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
Location: Masai Mara National Reserve Accommodation: Mid-Range Tented Camp / Lodge
We dedicate the full day to exploring the vast savannahs of the Masai Mara. You have the option of taking a packed picnic lunch to stay in the bush all day, maximizing your chances of spotting the elusive leopards and cheetahs. Between July and October, you will witness the Great Migration as wildebeest and zebras cross the river. Alternatively, you may visit a Maasai Manyatta (village) to learn about their rich culture (optional). Return to the lodge for a hot shower and dinner.

Masai Mara to Nairobi
Location: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Wake up to the sounds of the African bush. Enjoy an early morning game drive (or a sunrise balloon ride at an extra cost) before returning to the lodge for breakfast. We then drive back to Nairobi, ascending the Great Rift Valley escarpment. We will stop for lunch in the town of Narok, famous for its curios and Maasai artifacts. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
