Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning. We drive down the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, stopping at the viewpoint for breathtaking photos. We then drive into the Masai Mara. After checking into your lodge and enjoying a delicious lunch, we head out for an afternoon game drive. The Mara is famous for its cheetahs, lions, and vast herds of elephants. Return to the lodge for dinner and a bonfire under the stars.

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

We have a full day to explore the Masai Mara. You can choose to take a packed picnic lunch to maximize your time in the bush, searching for the elusive leopards and the "Big Five." Between July and October, you will witness the Great Migration as millions of wildebeest cross the Mara River. In the afternoon, you may opt to visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture (optional). Return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, we enjoy a final game drive in the Masai Mara before driving north to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its flocks of pink flamingos that feed on the algae in the alkaline lake. Lake Nakuru is also a sanctuary for the endangered Black Rhino and the White Rhino. We arrive at our lodge in the late afternoon for a rest, followed by an evening game drive along the lakeshore and the Baboon Cliff.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Enjoy a sunrise game drive in Lake Nakuru. After breakfast, we drive to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake in the Rift Valley. Upon arrival, we will check into our lakeside resort. In the afternoon, we embark on a boat ride on the lake to see hippos, pelicans, and fish eagles. Afterward, we take a short boat transfer to Crescent Island, a private sanctuary where you can walk freely among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. It is a unique experience to be on foot with the wildlife.

Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
Location: Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
After a leisurely breakfast overlooking the lake, you have the option to visit Hell’s Gate National Park (optional, famous for cycling safaris and geothermal activity) or relax at the lodge. We then drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your departure flight.
