Arrival in Arusha & Transfer to Tarangire
Location: Arusha to Tarangire National Park Accommodation: Budget Public Campsite
You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Arusha. We drive directly to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive termite mounds and large herds of elephants. The park is also home to the majestic baobab trees, known as the "Tree of Life." We enjoy a full day of game driving with a picnic lunch inside the park. Late in the afternoon, we head to our campsite for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its small size, this park is incredibly diverse. We will drive through the lush groundwater forest looking for blue monkeys and baboons before reaching the alkaline lake, famous for its pink flamingos. Most importantly, Lake Manyara is renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions, which we will scan the branches to spot. In the late afternoon, we drive to the campsite near the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Today is the highlight of the trip. We drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend onto the endless plains of the Serengeti. The landscape is breathtaking, and the game viewing begins immediately. We enjoy an en-route game drive as we head to our campsite. Depending on the season, you may encounter the massive herds of the Great Migration. We arrive at the camp in the late afternoon for a hot dinner.

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

We dedicate the entire day to exploring the Serengeti. You can choose an early morning game drive to catch the sunrise and the predators returning from the hunt, or a full-day drive with a picnic lunch deep in the wilderness. The Serengeti offers unrivaled wildlife viewing, including cheetahs, hyenas, and large prides of lions. Your guide will use his expertise to find the hidden gems of the park.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Location: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, we do a final game drive in the Serengeti before leaving the park. We drive back to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for a spectacular view of the caldera. We then descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a half-day crater tour. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called the "Garden of Eden" because of its high density of wildlife, including the endangered Black Rhino. We enjoy lunch by the hippo pool. Afterward, we ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon to drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
