Arrival in Entebbe & Transfer to Murchison Falls
Location: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park Accommodation: Budget Lodge / Campsite (Top of the Falls or Red Chili)
Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel in Entebbe for the journey to Murchison Falls, Uganda's largest national park. The drive takes you north through the beautiful Luwero triangle. Upon arrival, we will drive directly to the "Top of the Falls" for a breathtaking view. Watch as the Nile River squeezes through a 7-meter wide gorge and plunges 43 meters down with a deafening roar. Afterward, we drive to your accommodation for dinner.

Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Location: Murchison Falls National Park Accommodation: Budget Lodge / Campsite
Begin the day with a sunrise game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. The park is home to large herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and Uganda Kob. Keep your eyes peeled for lions and leopards. After lunch, we board a boat for a 3-hour cruise up the Nile River towards the base of the falls. This is arguably the highlight of Murchison Falls, offering close-up views of hundreds of hippos, massive Nile crocodiles, and elephants drinking at the water's edge. You may also see rare birds like the Shoebill Stork.

Transfer to Kibale National Park
Location: Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest Accommodation: Budget Lodge / Campsite near Kibale
After breakfast, we depart for Kibale National Park. The drive takes you through the lush landscapes of western Uganda, passing pastures and traditional homesteads. Kibale is a tropical rainforest that boasts the highest concentration of primates in Africa, including over 1,500 chimpanzees. We will arrive in the late afternoon, allowing you to relax at the lodge or take a walk around the local community.

Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Location: Kibale National Park Accommodation: Budget Lodge / Campsite near Kibale
This morning is dedicated to tracking man’s closest relative. At 8:00 AM, you will head into the forest for a guided trek. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will spend one hour watching them play, groom, and vocalize. In the afternoon, we take a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This community-run project offers fantastic birding opportunities and the chance to see other primates like the Red Colobus and Black-and-White Colobus monkeys.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Location: Kibale to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Accommodation: Budget Community Camp / Lodge
Today we drive south towards the "Pearl of Africa’s" crown jewel: Bwindi. The drive is scenic and winding, passing through the beautiful scenery of the Albertine Rift Valley and rolling tea plantations. We will drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park—famous for its tree-climbing lions—if time permits. We arrive at Bwindi in the late evening, ready for the next day's big adventure.

Gorilla Trekking Adventure & Departure
Location: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Entebbe/Kigali
Today is the climax of your safari. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you will hike into the dense forest to find the Mountain Gorillas. The trek is physically demanding but the reward is life-changing. You will watch the gentle giants for one hour. After the trek, we say goodbye to the forest and begin the drive back to Entebbe (or Kigali), stopping for lunch en route. You will arrive in the evening for your departure flight.
