Arrival in Nairobi – The Safari Capital
Location: Nairobi Accommodation: Budget Hotel in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). You will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the city center. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or take an optional excursion to the Nairobi Elephant Orphanage or the Giraffe Centre.

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Location: Masai Mara Accommodation: Budget Tented Camp
After an early breakfast, we depart Nairobi and drive down the escarpment into the Great Rift Valley. We pass through the town of Narok before entering the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arrival, we enjoy an en-route game drive as we head to our campsite for lunch. In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive in this world-renowned park, home to the stunning annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras.

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
Location: Masai Mara Accommodation: Budget Tented Camp
Today is dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara. We venture deep into the reserve in search of the Big Five and other predators like cheetahs and hyenas. You will have the option to enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush (at an extra cost) or return to the camp for a hot meal. In the evening, you can visit a Maasai village (optional) to witness their traditional dances and way of life.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
Location: Lake Nakuru Accommodation: Budget Guesthouse / Campsite
We enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast, watching the sunrise over the plains. Afterward, we depart for Lake Nakuru, famous for its flamingos that often form a pink ring around the lake. The park is also a sanctuary for both the Black and White Rhinos and is home to the endangered Rothschild giraffe. We enjoy an afternoon game drive before retiring for the night.

Lake Nakuru to Arusha via Namanga Border
Location: Arusha, Tanzania Accommodation: Budget Hotel in Arusha
After a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, we drive back towards Nairobi and proceed south to the Namanga border crossing (Kenya/Tanzania). Here, we will complete customs and immigration formalities. Once in Tanzania, our Tanzanian driver-guide will meet you and drive you to Arusha town for dinner and overnight.

Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Location: Serengeti National Park Accommodation: Budget Public Campsite
After breakfast, we depart for the Serengeti. We drive via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, entering the Serengeti plains. The name "Serengeti" comes from the Maasai word "Siringitu," meaning "endless plains." We enjoy a game drive en route to our campsite, looking out for herds of zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles. The Serengeti is arguably the best park in East Africa to see predators in action.

Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Location: Serengeti National Park Accommodation: Budget Public Campsite
Spend the entire day exploring the vast Serengeti. Depending on the season, you may witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration (typically July to October in the North, and January to March in the South for calving). The park offers incomparable game viewing opportunities, and your guide will take you to the areas where wildlife is most concentrated.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Location: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive or a hot breakfast before departing. We drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for a breathtaking view of the caldera below. We then descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a half-day crater tour. The Ngorongoro Crater boasts a dense population of wildlife, including the elusive Black Rhino. After lunch at the crater floor, we ascend and drive back to Arusha, where the safari ends.
