The driver will pick you up from the airport or your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to our departure point for final briefing. You will drive to Kenya’s northern frontier. Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannah watered by Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to special five species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebras, beiser Oryx, genenuk and the Somali Ostrich. Later dinner and overnight at a Samburu Sopa lodge.
Have full breakfast at the lodge then set for the full day game exploring. This rich park is known for Stunning landscape and wide open spaces that gives room for game viewing. The game drive deepens in search for the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands. Enjoy your picnic lunch as you enjoy the breathtaking land scape and the scenic Ewaso Nyiro River. Continue exploring the park till sunset and later drive park to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Have a cup of coffee or tea and proceed for an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for full breakfast. Depart for Ol Pejeta conservancy to arrive in time for lunch. Check in at Sweetwaters Serena Camp and enjoy your hot lunch. After lunch proceed for evening game drive. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee sanctuary where the orphaned and abused chimpanzee are taken care of. Later dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp.
After breakfast, you will explore Ol Pejeta conservancy r the Ol Pejeta Conservancy which is situated on the equator, west of Nanyuki between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The Conservancy boasts of the largest Black Rhino sanctuary in East Africa. It also houses the two remaining Northern White Rhino in the world. The Sweetwater’s Chimpanzee Sanctuary is situated here, and provides a haven for orphaned, abandoned and rescued chimpanzees. It is the only place in Kenya where these great apes can be seen. The Conservancy is host to the “Big Five” among a large selection of other African animals. Later exit the park and head to Lake Nakuru National Park with Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
After breakfast, you will have an extensive morning game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park. The Lake is famous for flamingos as well as over 400 other species of birds. In addition, many species of game can be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reed buck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plains game. Later we will head to Masai Mara National Reserve with lunch en-route. Upon arrival in Masai Mara you will check in at the camp followed by an evening game drive at the majestic Masai Mara known as home of the big five. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Have breakfast at the camp then set out for the full day game drive at the reserve. Afternoon you will have picnic lunch at the Mara River. Maasai Mara is unique in its ways and is covered with savannah grassland and scenic landscape. It also has a good track network which allows for close interaction with wildlife and nice photography. You will continue with the game driver in this majestic camp till sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
Have a cup of coffee before proceeding to the Masai village which is an extra optional activity. At the Masai village you will be able to interact with local Masai community as well as learning their culture. Here you will only pay $10 per person paid direct to the village then get back to the camp for full breakfast. After breakfast depart Masai Mara and head to Nairobi with lunch enroute. Upon arrival you will be dropped at your Nairobi hotel or airport to catch your flight.
